Cymbal Anatomy

Parts
EDGE
EDGE
It is where the cymbals "ends", the circumference. Also, it is the thinner and most fragile part.
BOW
BOW
The Bow connects the edge of the cymbals with the bell. The length of the bow (that has a direct relationship with edge size) can affect the overall sound and power of the cymbal.
BELL
BELL
It is the center of the cymbal, and it is responsible for most of the sound produced. If the bell size changes, the cymbal sound will be heavily affected.
